In 2015 Bulbo took part in the Fuorisalone events of Milan Design Week as part of Urban Perspectives, a whimsical installation on the future of urban mobility. Initiated and hosted by car manufacturer BMW MINI, the installation was put together in collaboration with Spanish designer Jaime Hayon.

The multi-faceted exhibition was in celebration of MINI’s new electric kick scooter concept and brought together design, fashion, food and green projects under one roof. Bulbo was invited to invade their pop-up cafe space as one of the many “local heroes” contributing to MINI’s new urban environment.

In the Latteria, the temporary café run by chef Corrado Calza, the Quadra and Cynara were set up on walls and tables to create edible green spaces available to the store’s patrons.

In addition, the team from Depop curated a small pop-up shop where Bulbo products were displayed alongside sunglasses by RetroSuperFuture and products from design firm Segno Italiano, putting Bulbo in the mix of trendsetting young Italian brands.
